Dear Andrea:
Who was the first Woman to use Jiu Jitsu in the Movies? My research shows it was Katherine Hepburn in “Pat and Mike”. She was a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu and a founder of the Blue Blouse Jiu Jitsu Society.
Lucille Ball and Viv Vance were the first women to do Judo on Television. Lucy was a Black Belt. Honor Blackman was the most highly skilled in Judo.
Thanks for the history lesson!
